B-Shed – Fremantle Port

Located on the historic Fremantle wharf, B Shed is a blank canvas ready to theme to almost any style of event. Large cargo doors and adjacent wharf space provide spectacular views of the Fremantle port.

The large 1,000 square metre space in the middle of B Shed is available for hire to exhibitions, concerts, fashion festivals and various other events but is not currently available for weddings, school balls or private parties.

B-Shed’s huge cargo doors can be opened to provide spectacular views of the working port. The internal space is about 872 m2 with an adjacent wharf area of 150 m2 with panoramic views over the harbour. Use the wharf area as a welcome area or for guests to watch the sunset over the harbour.

Built in 1926 as a general cargo shed, B Shed was refurbished in 2010, receiving a State Heritage Award. It houses a ferry terminal and cafe at the eastern end, Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation offices at the western end.
